Hi Abu,
Thanks for getting in touch. Many landlords in both the private and rented sector are under pressure at the moment to make their properties a C for energy performance. I have emailed you privately on the address you have given with some practical information. Feel free to contact me anytime.

Thanks

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am looking for advice on improving my property’s EPC rating and would like to work with an assessor who can help me understand the most cost-effective route to achieving a C rating.

The property currently has an EPC rating of D (score 65), although the certificate is from 2018. Since then, I have replaced all the single-glazed windows with double glazing and also replaced the front and rear doors.

Before carrying out any further works, I would like to understand which improvements would have the biggest impact on the EPC score. I would like to agree on a practical plan, complete the recommended works, and then arrange for a new EPC assessment once everything is finished.

I would be happy to pay for your time and guidance in reviewing the property and recommending the most worthwhile improvements, as well as paying for the final EPC certificate once the works have been completed.

I am not always available to answer phone calls, so I would appreciate it if you could reply by email in the first instance.

Please let me know if this is something you would be able to help with and what your fees would be.

Many thanks,
